This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains the terms applicable to the processing, fabrication, dispatch, transportation and delivery of products supplied by Jalap Aluminium Fabricators Pvt. Ltd. ("JAF").
JAF manufactures aluminium windows, doors and related products according to customer-approved specifications, measurements and designs.
Estimated Delivery Timeline: 40–45 Days
JAF generally aims to complete the fabrication and delivery of confirmed orders within approximately 40–45 days, subject to receipt of the required advance payment, final approval of specifications, site readiness, material availability and other applicable conditions.
1. Order Confirmation
Orders are processed after the required documents, customer approvals, finalized specifications and applicable advance payment have been received and accepted by JAF.
Fabrication and delivery timelines may begin after all necessary approvals and information have been completed.
2. Delivery Timeline
The standard estimated delivery period is 40–45 days from the applicable order confirmation/final approval and receipt of the required advance payment.
The delivery timeline is an estimated timeframe and may vary depending on product specifications, quantity, material availability, site conditions and other circumstances.
3. Customized Products
JAF products are customized according to the dimensions, drawings, specifications, colours, finishes and other requirements approved by the customer.
Customized products may require additional processing time depending on their specifications and manufacturing requirements.
4. Customer Approval
Fabrication will be carried out according to the specification sheet, shop drawing, measurements or other details approved by the customer.
Any delay in providing approvals, measurements, specifications or other required information may affect the estimated delivery timeline.
5. Site Readiness
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the site is ready and accessible for delivery and installation as required.
The site should be appropriately prepared before the material is scheduled for installation.
6. Delivery Address
Products will be delivered to the delivery location agreed upon at the time of order confirmation.
Customers should provide accurate delivery information, including address, contact number and any relevant site access instructions.
7. Transportation Charges
Freight charges for transporting the material from the fabrication unit to the first point of delivery are included for two lots, as per the applicable quotation terms.
Any additional lots or transportation requirements may be charged on an actual basis.
8. Dispatch
JAF will arrange dispatch after the material is ready and the applicable payment requirements have been fulfilled.
As per the applicable payment terms, the remaining 35% payment is required before dispatch of the material.
9. Delivery Delays
JAF will make reasonable efforts to meet the estimated 40–45 day delivery timeline.
Delays may occur due to circumstances such as material availability, manufacturing requirements, transportation issues, weather conditions, site readiness, customer approvals or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of JAF.
10. Delivery Inspection
Customers are advised to inspect the material at the time of delivery or installation and inform JAF of any visible issue or discrepancy as soon as possible.
Any issue should be communicated through official written communication for proper verification and resolution.
11. Installation
JAF products are finished products and should generally be installed after completion of brickwork, plaster, flooring, ceilings and POP work on walls.
Installation scheduling may depend on site readiness and accessibility.
12. Site Access
The customer must ensure that the site is accessible for transportation, unloading and installation.
Any special access requirements, restrictions or site-related conditions should be communicated to JAF in advance.
13. Warehouse / Storage Charges
Once the material is ready, JAF will inform the customer. The material should be installed or collected as scheduled.
If the site is not ready or is not opened for installation, warehouse/storage charges may apply. As per the applicable quotation terms, JAF may charge 2% of the due amount from the 7th day of intimation.
14. Change of Delivery Address
Any request to change the delivery address after order confirmation should be communicated to JAF in advance.
Additional transportation or handling costs resulting from a change of delivery location may be charged separately.
15. Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for providing correct delivery details, contact information, approved measurements, specifications and other information required for timely processing of the order.
16. Additional Charges
Additional items or services such as key locks, door closers, scaffolding, MS work, templates, additional transportation or other requirements may be charged separately as applicable.
17. Damage During Ongoing Construction
JAF will not be responsible for damage caused to installed windows, doors or glass by third parties or by ongoing construction work after installation.
Customers are advised to ensure that construction activities are properly managed after installation.
18. Packing of Installed Windows
Where applicable, packing of installed windows for protection against stains caused by labour or third-party vendors may be charged separately according to the applicable quotation terms.
19. Cleaning After Installation
Windows and glass will be cleaned by JAF at the time of installation as applicable.
If stains appear after installation due to ongoing civil work or other third-party activities, additional cleaning charges may apply according to the applicable quotation.
20. Ownership of Material
Ownership of the material will be transferred to the customer upon installation of the windows and doors, subject to fulfillment of applicable payment obligations and agreed order terms.
21. Payment Before Dispatch
JAF reserves the right to stop, hold or defer dispatch or supply if the required payment is not received according to the agreed payment terms.
22. Policy Changes
JAF reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping & Delivery Policy when required. The updated policy will be published on this website with the applicable effective date.
